# October 2024 Updates

API customers can now submit support tickets from the NexHealth portal! Plus, we've added more ledger integrations with the ability to read payment types.

## **Integration updates**

#### NexHealth's progress towards complete feature parity across all practice management system integrations

* Reading payment types is now available for OpenDental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix and Dentrix Enterprise ([beta version only](https://docs.nexhealth.com/v20240412/reference/payment-types))

## **API reference updates**

#### Changes to available endpoints including their parameters and content of the response body

* The /payments\_types endpoint has been added with the ability to get all payment types or a single payment type by id ([beta only](https://docs.nexhealth.com/v20240412/reference/payment-types))
* Clarification added to transaction\_id when POSTing a /payment\_transactions. The maximum length of this string is 50 characters

## **Developer Portal updates**

#### New features and functionality available in the Developer Portal

* You can submit a support ticket directly in the Portal by clicking on the help icon in the top right corner
