This month we got a ton done, shipping forms, appointment descriptors, and a new webhook.

Forms

Forms allow you to embed HIPAA compliant electronic forms directly into your application. Once a form is completed, form fields can be written into the patient record, and the form is saved in the document center as a PDF for provider review. Forms are available for Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Dentrix Enterprise, Curve, Denticon, and Orthotrac with more integrations to come.

Appointment Descriptors in Beta

Appointment Descriptors help you understand exactly what occurred during an appointment. Depending on the PMS, descriptors are pulled from service codes, treatment codes, visit types, or procedure codes. Descriptors can tell you if a root canal was performed or what kind of anesthesia was used. Appointment Descriptors are available for Open Dental, Dentrix Ascend, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, and Dentrix Enterprise with more integrations to come.

Appointment Creation Webhook

We’ve added a new webhook for appointment creation. It fires whenever an appointment is created via PMS or NexHealth web app / API.
