New fee schedule endpoints and more!

API endpoints

  • Fee Schedules:You can now read fee schedule data from Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental. Fee schedules define the prices a practice charges for procedures. Most practices have multiple schedules, one for cash payments and others for each insurance provider they support.

  • Endpoint Rename: POST /payment_transaction has been renamed to POST /payment for consistency. The original endpoint remains supported for backward compatibility.

  • Refund Support: You can now issue refunds through the POST /payment endpoint. Some systems (like Dentrix) only support refunds as adjustments, but NexHealth handles the mapping automatically.

Developer portal

You can now onboard NextGen and ModMed practices directly from the Developer Portal.
