December 2023 Release

We now support reading patient recalls from more health record systems so developers can build automated messaging, analytics, and other tools to help practices keep patients coming back.

Developers can read patient recalls from health record systems to determine when patients are due for follow-up care. This can be useful for offering recall appointment scheduling, automated patient reminders, or custom analytics for practices who want to identify patients with overdue or upcoming recalls.

With the Synchronizer API, developers can retrieve patient recalls from multiple health record systems including Denticon, Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Dentrix Enterprise, Dolphin, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and PracticeWorks.

Check out our documentation to learn more about how to use patient recalls to help practices keep patients coming back when they need recurring care.

Refer a developer

Earlier this year, we launched the NexHealth App Partner Program to help developers jumpstart distribution to the 10,000+ dental and medical locations using the Synchronizer. Developers have already started building a variety of innovative apps through the App Partner Program, including integrated phones, practice directories, and more.

To help even more developers scale quickly while building easy-to-integrate technology for practices, we’re running a special end-of-year promotion to grow the ecosystem of apps in the App Partner Program.

If you refer a new developer to our App Partner Program and they launch an app built on the Synchronizer, you and your referral will receive $250 of API credits.

This promotion is active through the end of December, and the credits will be applied to your first bill after the referral goes live in the App Partner Program. You can submit any referrals by emailing [email protected]. You can earn up to $1,000 in referral credits.
