API versioning
Versioning is specified via the Nex-Api-Version header. You are viewing the docs for v3.1.0, our edge version — endpoints here are actively iterating and access is restricted to specific partner institutions.
HeadersNex-Api-Version: v3.1.0
Requests sent with Nex-Api-Version: v3.1.0 use v3.1.0 behavior where an endpoint is redefined in this version, and transparently fall through to the current stable version (v3.0.0) everywhere else.
v3.0.0 and v20240412 are the same version
v3.0.0, the current stable version, was originally published under the date-based name v20240412, and you may still see that name in older material. The two names refer to the exact same version: the Nex-Api-Version header accepts either value, and both route to identical behavior.
