Athenahealth Integration in Beta

Exciting news to share! Our Athenahealth integration is now in beta, opening up thousands of potential practices to your product. In beta, the NexHealth API supports accessing patient information, and read/write access to the schedule.

To get started, submit a request through our partner portal as you would for any other system.

Appointment Cancellation Rollout

Through the NexHealth API, you can now cancel appointments in practice management systems. Appointment cancellation is now available for the following integrations:

  • Denticon
  • Dentrix
  • Dentrix Ascend
  • Dentrix Enterprise
  • Dolphin
  • Eaglesoft
  • eClinicalWorks
  • Open Dental

Appointments can be canceled by setting the “canceled” property on an appointment to “true” via a Patch request to appointments.

Onboarding Documentation

We’ve updated our Developer Welcome Guide to make it easier to onboard new practices. The guide includes:

  • The onboarding steps for supported practice management systems.
  • How you can help speed up the onboarding process.
  • What to expect when submitting requests through our portal.

In June, we’ll start working on reading/writing into the Payment Ledger in practice management systems.
