Editable Attributes

Only "confirmed" and "cancelled" can be patched. All other attribute changes will be overwritten during the next sync.

Appointment confirmation is supported on all integrations.

At this time, you cannot update the start and end time of an appointment. To reschedule an appointment, cancel the original appointment and recreate it at the new time.

Appointment cancellation is supported for the integrations below. (Currently unavailable for Curve, Dolphin, DrChrono, Orthotrac and PracticeWorks.) Where applicable, the list includes how the appointment will appear within the EHR UI.

  • Athena : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with reason = "Patient cancelled"
  • Cloud9 : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with a customizable reason
  • Denticon : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with reason = “Automated cancellation”
  • Dentrix (onprem) : The appointment will be “broken” with no cancellation reason
  • Dentrix Ascend : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with no cancellation reason
  • Dentrix Enterprise : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with no cancellation reason
  • Eaglesoft : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with no cancellation reason
  • eCW : Appointment status will be "CANC" with no cancellation reason
  • OpenDental : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with no cancellation reason
  • ModMed : Appointment status will be "cancelled" with reason = "Cancelled by NexHealth"
