Confirm, cancel, check in, reschedule, and update appointments

Only confirmed, cancelled, checkin_at, start_time, end_time, operatory_id, and note fields can be patched (all other field updates will be overwritten when NexHealth syncs data from the health record system).

For confirmations, appointments can only be patched from confirmed=false toconfirmed=true.

For checkins, appointments can only be patched from checkin_at = null to checkin_at = date-time

You can update start_time, end_time, operatory_id, and note on an existing appointment directly via PATCH.

Rescheduling
For now, updating an existing appointment's start_time, end_time, operatory_id, or note is only supported for Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, and Open Dental.
