ModMed credential provisioning
ModMed credential provisioning
NexHealth will require 2 ModMed users to be created for the sole purpose of the integration. These users should be unique and not shared by a staff member. One user should have a “Clinical” role while the other user should have a “Management” role. Please see the list below for the permissions needed for each user.
Clinical staff account:
The Clinical user will require permissions with access to the areas listed below.
- Book at Unavailable Times - To apply this permission, follow these steps when logged in as an administrator user:
- Click Practice Management Settings
- Click Appointment & Calendar
- Click Calendar
- Choose a provider
- Choose a location
- Click Calendar Access Permissions
The following menus must be accessible via the Clinical user account
- Patients tab
- Schedule tab
- Appt Flow tab (waitlist)
- Document Mgmt
- Access to Patients → (navigate to a patient profile) → Patient Clipboard
- Past Medical History
- Medications
- Allergies

Management staff account:
We require a Management Account with an Administrator role (Not an Assistant Administrator). Management users will require permission access to the areas listed below.
- Practice Settings → Event Logs → Audit Event Logs
- Practice Management Settings → Appointment & Calendar → Appointment Types
- Practice Management Settings → Appointment & Calendar → Reason For Visit
- Practice Management Settings → Locations → Manage Locations
- Practice Management Settings → Locations → Provider Groups
- Practice Management Settings → Appointment & Calendar → Calendar
- Practice Settings → Categories & Tags → Manage Document Categories
