This endpoint uploads a document for the given patient; the file's name is used when inserting the document into the EHR's filesystem, while the optional name param is for NexHealth display purposes only.

The document reaches the system only where document insertion is turned on for it: Curve Hero, Denticon, Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft and Open Dental. For athenahealth, eClinicalWorks and OrthoTrac, ask developer support. Elsewhere the document is stored in NexHealth only. Subscribe to document_insertion to know when the write finished.
